Position: Drug & Alcohol Counselors needed!

Start Date: 5/27/24

Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, weekends not required

Setting: Corrections Setting

Position Summary:

The incumbent provides direct psychological services, including psychosocial assessment and screening for severity of substance use disorder; individual, group and family therapy behavior modification, treatment planning, case management, and psycho-education to male, female, and juvenile inmates at the County Jail.

Minimum Requirements:

A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, OR a related Master’s degree AND one (1) year of prior experience in a health or human services agency with a drug and alcohol focus AND a minimum of one (1) year experience with group and individual counseling.
