Job Title: Dispatcher

Location: Clinton, PA

Position Type: Day & Afternoon shift available, with Saturday rotation after 6 months

Salary: Starting at $18-$20 per hour, based on experience

Job Description:

As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in our client's operations by efficiently coordinating delivery routes and maintaining constant communication with the drivers throughout the day. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing delivery routes and schedules while maximizing available driver hours and close times.
• Demonstrating quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
• Utilizing effective listening skills to accurately collect and document required information.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets our required service standards.
• Collaborating with team members and management to optimize delivery operations.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with both customers and drivers.
• Adhering to our Monday-Friday schedule with the possibility of a Saturday rotation after 6 months.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in dispatching or a similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members, management, customers, and drivers.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using technology and dispatching software.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
