NJ Employer Cloud Engineer in Piscataway, New Jersey
Marlabs, Inc., a Piscataway, NJ-based software and technology consulting company, has multiple openings for Cloud Engineer (for locations nationwide). Define the technical considerations and direction for the development of the cloud infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Responsibilities include: Design, architect and build Microsoft Azure, AWS virtual data centers, core cloud service for applications, networks and storage systems. Review Cloud Infrastructure conceptual and detailed designs and Migrate existing on-perm applications to cloud. Implement network solutions and work with ISP/NSP service providers to implement scalable solutions capable of automated fail-over with near zero downtime. Develop solutions for applications to adapt cloud services while maintaining legal/regulatory compliance requirements. Develop and evaluate solution performance and capacity requirements. Implement task automation and process improvements. Drive technical innovation, technology lifecycle management, design and define technical standards for all Enterprise/Cloud Platform Solutions. Req.: Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in CompSci, any Engg, CIS, Science, Math, Business or related with two years of experience (or Associates or/ Foreign Equivalent in above fields with four years of experience). OTHER REQUIREMENTS: (1) At least 2 years experience in SCOM, VMware, Hyper-V, NetApp, PowerShell, Solarwinds, Symantec, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory. (2) At least six months of hands on experience with SaaS Cloud, Vistra Cloud platform, System Center Products 2007/2012, Commvault, Netbackup, Veeam, Vendor based MIBs.
