U-Haul Digital Marketing Intern in Phoenix Az 8, Arizona

We are seeking a creative, motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join the U-Haul Retail Sales team here in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital audiences to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment alongside seasoned marketers. The person in this role will work closely with our digital marketing strategist.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns involving email, social media, search engine marketing, and in-app messaging.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns using Google Analytics.

  • Support the maintenance and optimization of the company website, social media pages, and Google Business listings.

  • Conduct market research to identify industry/consumer trends and new opportunities.

  • Identify pain points in customer journeys then recommend strategies to solve them.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, or other related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).

  • Experience with Google Analytics (an understanding of GA4 is a plus!).

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.

  • Familiarity with search engine marketing through Google Ads and social media marketing through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, as well as multitask when necessary.

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
