The Associate Research Analyst position supports the data collection and analysis of public sector content in support of Deltek Information Solutions’ product sets, providing research and analysis in the government market. The Associate Research Analyst will utilize web-based and human intelligence to identify, qualify and describe procurement opportunities, contracts, contacts, vendor information, and or other selected data sets of value to our clients in carrying out their sales and business development functions. The s uccessful applicant must have superior research capabilities, a keen interest in the business of government and a demonstrated commitment to excellence.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide research, analysis, writing and editing support in a team of Analysts to maintain database content.
Identify, research and capture new information of use to clients in their government sales and business development activities, such as contract opportunities, news, contacts, etc..
Organize, analyze, and synthesize data and information using Word, Excel, Cascadia, ScrapeX or other internal collaboration tools as necessary
Conduct and analyze overall market trends particularly bids, collection of projects and provide written and oral briefings to internal team and other stakeholders.
Participate in formal quality assurance reviews to ensure maintained delivery of data quality and adhere to required passing rate.
To collect project information through sources and add value to Deltek information products.
Contribute to product planning, product enhancements, and recommend improvements.
Stay abreast of industry and public sector procurement and policy trends
Participate in team meetings, team get-togethers, fostering and other business exigencies whether in the office or agreed official location.
Any other tasks, cross-functional training, reports and research associated requests, as needed / assigned by the manager.
Work Location:Philippines, Makati City Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in government procurement or market research.
Minimum of 2 years, if possible, with professional experience in marketing, research, customer support, data collection, business development, government relations or other related field.
Must have excellent computer and Internet skills including Microsoft Office and Internet research.
Knowledge of or a keen interest in State and Local Education sector marketplace is highly desirable.
Excellent client and personal relationship skills; team player: enthusiastic, hardworking, and pleasant attitude.
Capable of independently managing time and tasks to accomplish content, product objectives and support business goals.
