POSITION: Vocational Advisor(s) – Day and/or Evening (PT)
SITE/BUILDING: Various Sites
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advise learners in educational planning, including program selection
Conduct intakes/registration and orientation for new and returning adult learners
Assist in developing academic and career plans
Support students to identify priorities related to their educational goals and resource needs
Connect learners to outside resources in order to resolve behavioral, academic and other challenges interfering with their educational/training goal
Help develop, manage, and facilitate outreach activities/events
START DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: $41.60/hour
Job Qualifications
NYS School Counselor or Social Worker Certification
Experience with a variety of digital office tools, including Google Suite/Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
