Lockheed Martin Printed Circuit Maker Sr in Owego, New York

Description: Sets up and fabricates printed circuits and circuit boards. Performs all operations as directed from engineering drawings, diagrams, and general instructions to cut, shear, etch, plate, expose, drill, and clean complex circuit boards to close tolerances. Applies enamels, laminates, chemical solutions, and acids as necessary. May perform cutouts and touchups on circuit board materials such as copper-faced plastic, fiberglass, or epoxy board. May install brackets, eyelets, and terminals. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, product specifications, and operating requirements of PCB manufacturing equipment including, LDI, Accutray, and Cut Sheet Laminator.

Knowledgeable of PWB continuity/Isolation and cooper core material

Prior experience with detecting variations from specifications, and analyzing results of copper traces and patterns. Positive and Negative polarity of film.

Experience cooper thickness measuring devices, CMI testing, and Coupon inspection.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment or with production equipment.

Experience with chemical processing and inspection.

The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and process plans as required.

The ability to work in a 1k cleanroom and wear cleanroom attire for extended periods is required.

The ability to work with hazardous chemicals is required.

Basic computer skills are required.

Desired Skills:

• Works under general direction and from production schedules, manufacturing procedures, process, and written or oral instruction.

• Operates and carefully adjusts parts and materials onto PWB cut sheet laminator with proper alignment for operations.

• Works in cleanroom with delicate material which are highly sensitive to light and require special handling.

• Uses gages, microscope, electronic instruments and small tools to check dimensions, handle materials and prepare parts for subsequent operations.

• Processes performed are one or more of the following: acid and solvent cleaning, coating, baking, etching, exposing, developing, stripping and aligning. During processing may adjust and modify process within normal parameters to compensate for specific conditions.

• Loads, monitors operation and unloads components from ovens, cleaning stations and marking machines.

• Before, during and after process steps, performs checks and tests to verify that materials meet pre-determined specifications. Maintain production and operating records and logs to document processes performed, product completed, quality and operating data.

• Observes all safety precautions when using process equipment and hazardous materials. Follows directions and procedures to maintain specified level of cleanliness in work area.

• Cleans and performs routine and/or minor maintenance, tool repair and any other area related assignments as required.

• Requires significant attention to detail for production activities and documentation to maintain compliance with Mil. Standard requirements.

• Assists and familiarizes other employees as required; works in a team environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $32,300 - $62,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $37,200 - $67,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
