Job Description Summary
This is an exciting and varied role within a small, dynamic multi-country team working with PET (Positron Emission Tomography) products, such as PET FASTlab cassettes. The successful candidate will be part of a high energy Supply Chain Team working together with GE HealthCare and contract manufacturers (CMOs) to deliver a range of critical healthcare products to our customers around the globe. The successful candidate will need to be open minded, flexible, self-driven with a proven track record of problem-solving and strong teamwork. The successful candidate will be providing technical leadership for the GE HealthCare and CMO production teams and lead interactions with our suppliers. This position is connected to a 12 months contract.

Essential Responsibilities
Support the PET Supply Chain manufacturing processes that are ongoing at multiple production sites, both at GE HealthCare and at CMOs
Support the continuous evolution of manufacturing, safety and quality documentation and work to improve the application of standard work within PET Supply Chain
Provide safe processes that comply with all relevant regulations. Assure that corrective actions are taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas
Drive improved product quality by working closely with GE HealthCare and CMOs production teams, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation of such solutions into production
Work with suppliers to improve product quality, on time delivery and cost of goods
Work with project teams to support new product introductions into PET Supply Chain
Support the processing and investigation of customer complaints
Use of LEAN and Six Sigma toolkits to identify and implement opportunities to reduce lead time, reduce defects, save cost, and improve product quality
Qualifications/Requirements
MSc. Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Chemistry/Engineering or minimum of 5 years experience of working in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment
Production experience within pharmaceuticals and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated ability to execute change projects within a pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment
Strong organisation and proven ability to manage and prioritise numerous ongoing tasks
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and planning skills
Proven track record of problem-solving
Strong teamwork experience
Understanding of the requirement of manufacturing products to GMP or ISO13485
Desired Characteristics
Experience working within quality control or quality assurance
Demonstrated ability to work remotely within international teams
Strong track record of product improvement or supplier improvement projects
Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity
Previous project management experience
Experience in LEAN and Six Sigma
Injection moulding knowledge and/or experience
Experience in ensuring regulatory compliance through Validation & Verification - Plan execution and analysis
Ability to lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of supply chain goals
