Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Senior Staff - Level 5 in Orlando, Florida

Description: The primary responsibility of this position is to support F-35 ALIS/ODIN system/subsystem design for hardware and software systems, requirements, and System level testing while leading a large group of Systems Engineers. The SE lead will utilize standard engineering practices to generate requirements for complex design and architecture for hardware and software systems. This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with multiple systems engineering, software development, aircraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams.

- Collaborates across all disciplines to ensure that technical parameters, interfaces and assumptions are consistent, and interfaces with stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met.

- Develops and/or executes verification and validation plans and procedures in collaboration with designers and developers.

- Develops system requirements and/or architectures to ensure customer needs and contracts are appropriately translated into the products development cycle.

- Establishes and oversees the execution of the SE process, to include how development and technical processes are executed, how the maturation of the product will be evaluated, and how overall development is measured throughout execution.

- Integrates functionality into product(s) and platform(s) and other system(s).

- Interfaces with other teams involved with the development, maintenance, and sustainment lifecycle.

- Identifies and assesses program risks and opportunities to support the Risk & Opportunity

- Responsible for external and internal system interfaces.

- Supports program milestone events as required (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FCA, PCA, etc.).

- Supports detailed technical integration activities among critical program functions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering

•Requirements-related efforts; i.e. decomposition, modeling, testing/verification, etc.

• Experience with Requirements Generation and

Management or System Level testing

• Technical Leadership Experience

• CAMEO Subject Matter Expert

Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret

Certifications in the following disciplines are a plus:

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
