Assistant Project Manager
What we are looking for:
Here at Aldridge Electric, we are leaders in our industry from the East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast. We are seeking to hire an Assistant Project Manager who wants to join our dynamic and energetic team all while traveling the United States. This role will work collaboratively with the project team to ensure that a quality project is produced safely, on time, and within budget.
What you’ll do:
Support essential project duties including:
Promoting safe jobsites
Pre-job planning
Cost and labor tracking
Document control (material submittals, RFIs, change orders, etc.)
Procuring material and tools
Coordination of subcontractors
Contract compliance
Read and understand project drawings
Monitor the production phase at various levels
Collect and compile statistical quality data
Make recommendations on how to prevent common errors
Who you are:
We are pursuing entry-level candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, other related major, or equivalent construction/Union trade background
Internships or other relevant work experience
Willing to travel
Strong work ethic
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detailed documentation skills
Keen attention to detail
