Job Description
The Town of Ocean City is hiring Camp Horizon Day Camp Counselors. Responsibilities include scheduling, planning, and implementing activities involving all aspects of recreation including sports, games, arts and crafts, drama, dance, and nature activities for children five (5) - twelve (12) years. Reports and schedule preparation and other duties as assigned. Camp program runs for eight (8) weeks, Monday through Friday, beginning June 17th, 2024. Position falls under the direct supervision of the Camp Director.

- Applicants must be dedicated, enthusiastic, hardworking, creative individuals who love working with children.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Pay: $16.39/hour.
- Those with or working toward a degree in Recreation, Education, or a related field are desired.
- If hired, this position requires certification in First Aid and CPR - included during orientation week.
- Must be available to work June 10th to August 9th, 2024.
- Forty (40) hours per week with limited straight overtime opportunities.
- Pass a post offer drug test and background check.
