News Corp Australia Commercial Insights Manager in NSW, Australia

What’s the role?

Medium Rare, Australia’s leading content marketing agency, is looking for a Commercial Insights Manager to enhance advertising responses with high-quality insights that deliver the most compelling rationale/response for advertising briefs and post-campaign digital and social reports.

Reporting to the Strategy and Insights Director, you will work on iconic Australian brands such as Qantas, Bunnings, David Jones, CommBank, Coles and many more, to generate actionable insights to support commercial operations, audience targets, go to market strategies, and revenue growth by a customer-needs approach.

You are someone who relishes finding the best-fitting insights to meet the client’s objective using a range of primary and secondary sources. You see commercial opportunities in data and appreciate the value of simple yet exciting storytelling to communicate. You are endlessly curious, love a challenge, have an understanding of audience behaviour, are an early adopter of social platforms, and are at your best when collaborating with, and supporting, others.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a creative insights specialist to provide meaningful guidance and support to a high-performing, highly collaborative team.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years experience working preferably within a media/digital agency, or client side in marketing, in a digital, social, data, or campaign implementation role

  • Understanding of digital and social reporting metrics and benchmarks

  • Expertise in analytical tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Adobe Analytics, Roy Morgan, Semrush, Google Trends

  • An audience-first mindset to ensure all campaigns and content meet specific audience needs

  • An understanding of brand and communications strategy and client needs

  • Excellent communicator across a range of stakeholder groups

  • Experience working with large data sets to extract meaningful insights

  • A sense of curiosity, love of learning and willingness to grow your expertise

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who embodies a growth mindset, adaptability, attention to detail and a desire to move beyond the obvious.

While these skills are highly desired, there will be training opportunities for the right candidate.
