AAPSA is currently seeking candidates for the role of Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) within our ABA Program. As a CSS, you will collaborate directly with senior clinical staff, including ABA Supervisors and AAPSA Leadership, to enhance the delivery of ABA therapy services. The primary objective of this position is to bolster the quality of ABA services by providing crucial support to ABA Supervisors in case management, Behavior Technician (BT) training, and overall clinic organization.
The CSS role is crafted to offer comprehensive support to ABA Supervisors and their caseloads while providing an educational pathway towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Daily responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the ABA Supervisor, clients, and BTs. The individual in this role must be ready and willing to assist in any and all tasks that are necessary to ensure the program is running effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct direct care (15 hours per week)
Provide support to assigned patients and the BT’s on those patients
Assist in adjusting program protocols and targets
Summarize data and assist in writing progress reports
Assist in the development of special programming, and provide staffing and supervision during those programs as assigned
Schedule and organize agenda for monthly meetings with BTs
Assist ABA Supervisors in conducting parent trainings
Assist ABA Supervisors in conducting assessments and subsequent treatment planning
Assist in training of new BTs
Assist with scheduling of meetings and trainings
Managing the BT’s “To Do List”; ensuring tasks are completed and indirect hours are used efficiently
Add items to order lists as needed; purchase necessary materials for patients
Ensure effective communication between patients, BTs, Supervisors and relevant information is communicated to appropriate staff
Monitoring RBT supervision completion
Specific Requirements of the CSS position include:
Must be currently pursuing a master’s degree in ABA
Must have a bachelor’s degree (in behavior analysis or related field)
Salary Description
$45,000-$50,000
