Description We are looking to bring on board a meticulous Senior Accountant in the Drink & Beverages industry located in North Aurora, Illinois. The role will primarily involve managing fixed asset accounting, inventory accounting, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closing, among other accounting tasks. This role will support multiple distribution centers and supervise a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee fixed asset and inventory accounting

• Conduct account reconciliations effectively and regularly

• Create and manage journal entries

• Assist the Controller with month-end closing activities

• Supervise a small team of accountants

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Apply skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Month-End Close

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

• Monitor and analyze financial statements for discrepancies

• Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws. Requirements • Applicant must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a mandatory requirement

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in handling General Ledger

• Ability to manage Journal Entries effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in handling Month End Close processes is vital
