Location Description Post Consumer Brands in Niagara Falls, Ontario is home to the Original Shredded Wheat cereal, first produced at this plant 117 years ago. Today, more than 150 team members work at the plant and support the local food bank and other community organizations. The Niagara Falls plant is just down the road from the iconic and expansive waterfalls of the same name. Check out this majestic natural wonder and the various activities nearby. Niagara Falls is the perfect location for cereal and nature fans alike. Responsibilities Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433a As part of Post Consumer Brands, in our Niagara Falls plant we are dedicated to providing better food today and a better world tomorrow. We seek to make every day cereals healthier, easier, more affordable and tastier, and to serve more communities responsibly. At our purpose built facility we currently employ 190 employees and in 2024 celebrate our 120th anniversary of being in Niagara Falls. There has never been a more exciting time to come and join us! We have openings for Millwrights who will carry out planned, predictive and re-active maintenance of plant equipment and machinery in order to maintain plant reliability & performance in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role will involve assisting other members of the Maintenance department with the company’s reactive and preventative maintenance duties including routine mechanical or electrical tasks that are assigned. Main Duties & Responsibilities: · Responding to routine breakdown and repair issues · Ensure high factory reliability is achieved by performing quality routine machine and plant maintenance · Ensure optimum performance is achieved through effective and consistent setting of the production machine · Participate in engineering focused activities in support of manufacturing plant and equipment · Work with the engineering team and meet the engineering standards across the group · Deliver maintenance KPI’s to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement for site. Experience in a manufacturing food processing environment is an asset 5+ years of strong mechanical skills and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience. Strong Preventive Maintenance (PM) background including experience developing Preventive Maintenance plans is desirable Excellent communication skills both oral and written Self directed / motivated team player open to new technology with a sense of urgency and attention to detail Possession of a 4th class power engineer ticket is an asset

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated levels This job will require frequent bending and twisting of the back as well as working above shoulder height
