Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Administrative Tax Associate.

Responsibilities:

In addition to the essential responsibilities described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by credit department professionals.

• Disseminate communication of information throughout the credit/tax department (i.e. changes to Sales/Use Tax Rates).

• Assist with the administration and compliance of sales tax.

• Daily sales tax review of all invoices before release for billing.

• Correction of sales tax errors and tax adjustments for various exemption certificate types received prior to and post-billing.

• Upload and maintain tax certificates in software database.

• Prepare, assist, and support with all other requests relating to sales tax with customer accounts.

• Work on special projects as needed.

• Always represent the company in a professional manner.

• Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.

• Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers regarding sales tax matters.

• Strong reconciliation and analysis skills.

• Be a collaborative team player.

• Proficient with various software programs including Trilogie, Bectran, ECMS, Excel, and Word.

Pay Range:

$17.74 - $29.08

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
