Kforce Telecom Project Coordinator in Newark, New Jersey

Kforce has a client seeking a Project Coordinator in Newark, NJ.Summary:The Project Coordinator will work from our HQ and will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of project information throughout the project lifecycle from proposal request through project closeout. In this capacity, the selected candidate will capture, manage and disseminate information to and from members of the project team and the customer.A key element of the role is to ensure that the company's project tracking system and document repositories are current, well organized, and reflective of the status of the projects in the portfolio. You will support assigned projects within your assigned region; interface regularly with customer contacts to provide status updates under the direction of the program director. Depending on needs of the business, you may be asked to support similar activities in multiple regions for more than one program manager.Responsibilities:

  • Upload data and documents into customer database systems (PACE, FileNet, Norad, Site Tracker/FUZE, and Siterra) and track these updates for customers

  • Update Project Tracker with notes received, and milestone completions from proposal and implementation status meetings

  • Upload documents to SharePoint as they are created by originators, create new folders when needed; I.E. Sales sending out Proposals, Implementation sending out P.O.s

  • Gather closeout documents for projects that are in the Administrative Close stage

  • Create phase review checklist and work with program manager to identify correct participants to contact for documentation

  • Follow up with these contacts, gather material and organize in SharePoint for handoff to Net Ops

  • High School education or GED/equivalent with some college or technical training required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience with PACE, FileNet, Norad, Site Tracker/FUZE, Siterra and SharePoint

  • Proven data entry experience with AT&T's SARF, SCIP, SDP, RDFS process

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio; with specific emphasis on Excel, Project and PowerPoint

  • Solid problem solving and independent thinking skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively both within and outside of the company verbally and in writing through emails and presentations


  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in technical or business field

  • 5 years' experience as a Project Coordinator working in the Program Management Office

  • In-depth experience with PACE, FileNet, Norad, Site Tracker/FUZE, Siterra and SharePoint

  • PMP certification through Project Management Institute
