Are you a hands on IT manager with experience in supervising the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure? Do you have managerial skills, analytical ability and strong problem solving skills? Are you organized and efficient, with superior time management ability? If so, we are looking for an MIS Manager.

How Will You Contribute?

The Senior IT Manager is in charge of our company’s entire IT infrastructure. This includes networks, firewalls, physical servers, virtualizations, disaster recovery, redundancies, backups, Active directory, Microsoft exchange, and MS SQL. The Senior IT Manager will also lead the day-to-day operations of the IT department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines. This role is also responsible for the management and development of a team of eight colleagues.

Your Main Focus Will Be:

  • Oversee and lead the work of the IT staff.

  • Implement strategies to advance technology programs/systems that are aligned with company vision and business goals.

  • Implement wired/wireless technology and on premise/ cloud infrastructure and network infrastructure.

  • Monitor and maintain corporate networks, servers, desktop equipment, and more.

  • Research and evaluate current and new technologies.

  • Test and install software upgrades and new hardware.

  • Collect and analyze network and system performance. Utilize information and maintain systems to achieve optimal functionality and uptime.

  • Evaluate new vendors and business tools to enable compliance and disaster recovery.

  • Complete projects by coordinating resources with other departments and IT.

  • Coordinate and maintain infrastructure, software and hardware and updates during on and off peak hours.

  • Act in alignment with end user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policies. Identify problem areas and system gaps, followed by strategic solutions.

  • Manage the annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department

  • Audit system and assess outcomes and implications.

    What Technologies Do I Need To Know?

  • VMWare

  • Microsoft windows server 2013 -2016

  • Active directory policies

  • Microsoft SQL Server is plus

  • Exchange 2013/ 2016 on premise and cloud

  • Symantec products (Endpoint, Mail Gateway and Veeam Backup Exec)

  • Microsoft IIS

  • WSUS

  • Citrix

  • Remote Desktop Applications

  • Mac IOS and Android

  • Active Directory

    Position Requirements:

  • Degree in related field.

  • At least 5+ years of experience in management and supervision of IT teams.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in AD Policy and servers.

  • Hand-on and working knowledge of all technologies listed above.

  • Solid understanding of networks and applications.

  • Data modeling skills are a plus.

  • Programming languages are a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

    Salary: $130,000.00-$150,000.00

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
