JPMorgan Chase Sales/Marketing Officer in New York, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Oversee the operations of the Global Credit Structuring Team. Prepare complex transaction models and analyze pricing. Manage marketing material creation and lead sales efforts for complex credit products. Review legal and regulatory documents and prepare transaction term sheets. Liaise with middle office, back office, settlements, drafting, and legal teams to ensure that all trades are booked, risk managed, and settled correctly. Attend client meetings to understand client needs and structure hedging and investment solutions accordingly. Prepare market commentary and structure thematic trade ideas based on the prevalent market conditions. Partner with internal technology and external data providers to enhance offerings to clients. Provide expert oversight to team of analysts doing credit research. Supervise and manage subordinate staff, including directing workloads, overseeing day-to-day duties, training, development, and providing feedback on the team's work product. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel and up to 5% international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Engineering (Any), Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Sales/Marketing Officer, Credit Portfolio Analyst, Sales Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Any), Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Sales/Marketing Officer, Credit Portfolio Analyst, Sales Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: executing transactions in the rates derivatives market; executing transactions in the cash credit market; executing transactions in the credit derivatives market; Credit Default Swaps; Total Return Swaps; preparing marketing materials for financial products; preparing marketing materials for transaction termsheet negotiations; preparing marketing materials for ISDA negotiations; calculating and mitigating counterparty credit risk under derivative transactions; training employees on credit derivative markets, client management, and negotiation. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel and up to 5% international travel.

Full-Time. Salary: $277,410.00- $285,000.00 per year.
