Hospital for Special Surgery, #1 in Orthopedics for the last 14 years, is currently looking for a Research Associate.
Overview:
A part-time Research Associate position is open to PhD scientists at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Research Institute / Weill Cornell Medicine in the laboratory ofDr. Laura Donlin(https://www.hss.edu/research-staff_donlin-laura.asp ) , which maintains a strong focus on translational research, using patient samples to identify pathologic features of autoimmune conditions.
The HSS Research Institute is a part of the superb tri-institutional research environment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan (Weill Cornell Medicine/HSS, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Rockefeller University) with ample opportunities for professional interaction and growth.

Qualifications
PhD Required, PhD candidates with expected impending graduation are also encouraged to apply.
Two Years of experience (Preferred)
Familiarity with computers and software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of orthopedic and rheumatologic terminology is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
Proficient in the use of computers and software, including Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to analyze data and translate into both lay and scientific terms. Ability to use technical ability to trouble shoot and work independently

USD $38,995.00/Yr.

USD $46,792.00/Yr.
