JPMorgan Chase NA Credit Trading - Product Specialist - Analyst in New York, New York

North America Credit Trading acts as a market maker in corporate credit products to the largest asset manager and investor clients.

Job Summary:

As an analyst in the Product Specialist team, you will be responsible with the day-to-day monitoring and analysis of all products we are responsible for, including but not limited to; corporate bonds, credit default swaps, credit indices, index options, and loans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The position requires expertise in all stages of a trade life cycle:

  • Pre-trade: Anticipating settlement bottlenecks, working with clients on any concerns, understanding balance sheet and capital costs, knowing optimal modelling and feeding processes

  • Execution: Insuring risk and P/L are correctly captured on T, partners in other groups (Compliance, Market Risk, Product Control) are alerted to any potential concerns

  • Post-Trade: Monitoring of positions, client/issuer data analysis, regulatory reviews of positions, any settlement concerns/queries

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • At least 1-4 years of experience in Markets, Risk, and/or Trade Support. Series 7 & 63 required (can apply without exams)

  • Creative problem solver with ability to perform well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative abilities

  • Strong team player that Is detail oriented with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control

  • Effective communication skills to interact with internal partners and clients

  • Strong understanding of Excel and deep knowledge of Bloomberg a plus
