Amazon Marketing Manager, In-Store Experience, Amazon Fresh in New York, New York

Amazon is looking for a customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial In-Store Marketing Manager to join the Amazon Fresh physical stores team.

We are seeking a marketing manager with a strong track record of delivering results and proven program management experience to lead execution on key in-store marketing initiatives. In this role, you will build and optimize processes to scale store signage for launches and seasonal campaigns. You will partner with retail teams to lead new project intake mechanisms and manage requirements to prioritize and scale. You will become an expert on the Fresh in-store physical environment to identify new merchandising opportunities to help drive engagement and retention goals. You will partner with Operations teams to implement weekly programs and own store communications for the In-Store Marketing team.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution on in-store initiatives including launch signage kits, seasonal campaigns and new ad hoc projects

• Innovate and collaborate with cross functional partners across Advertising, Legal, Finance, Operations, Creative, Insights and Retail to deliver best in class programs

• Manage external printers and agencies, including communication, timelines, budget forecasting and SOP improvements

• Build repeatable processes from one-off activities to driving efficiencies and automation to successfully scale, working cross-functionally to implement

• Analyze performance of campaigns, and share results with leadership and key stakeholders

• Manage multiple projects gracefully while balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, account management, product management, or project management

  • Experience defining and executing against program requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • Physical retail experience a plus, particularly in grocery

  • Experience with creating and improving processes

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
