Neuberger Berman Head of Treasury in New York, New York

Neuberger Berman is seeking a Head of Treasury for the NB Alternatives platform. This role represents an opportunity to be an initial member in the build out of the centralized treasury team supporting the overall NB Alternatives platform. The Head of Treasury will report into the Chief Financial Officer for NB Alternatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining bank and credit rating agency relationships

  • Negotiation of credit facilities for funds

  • Ongoing compliance of credit facilities including quarterly attestations

  • Analyze and execute hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates and foreign exchange

  • Opening of new bank accounts, including standardization of bank signatory requirements and controls across platforms

  • Maintaining bank accounts and supporting control structure for treasury management

  • Development of key liquidity and financial metrics to monitor, report, manage and improve quality and efficiency

  • Vendor oversight functions and reporting for banks, line of credit and foreign exchange providers

  • Financial planning and analysis to forecast cash flow position and funds available for investment including liquidity reports

  • Ongoing monitoring of bank credit exposures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in treasury, FP&A, and accounting

  • Relevant work experience in public accounting and investment management industries is ideal

  • Proven credit facility negotiation experience ideally from a fund or an asset manager perspective

  • Effective at leading and influencing across all levels of seniority with strong managerial experience

  • Ability to problem solve and diagnose issues quickly

  • Strong data analytical skills

  • Knowledge of monetary markets, FX, interest rate markets, business investment management, financing strategies, and hedging strategies

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $250,000-$300,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
