JPMorgan Chase Asset Management, Digital Product Owner - Vice President in New York, New York

J.P. Morgan Asset Management is looking for an experienced Product Manager (PM) to lead the digitization of a suite of client-facing capabilities focused on delivering superior client experiences and demonstrable operational efficiencies. This workstream is part of an ambitious roadmap transforming JPMorgan's client offering by providing unique access to sophisticated data and capabilities. This role calls for an entrepreneurial and innovative PM with a track record of working with a large team of engineers and designers to develop admired applications, following lean best practices in an agile framework. Success in this role requires a strong bias for ownership, action, and the ability to execute daily at the highest level.

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver meaningful contributions to business transformation strategy across lines of business, using digital technologies as a way to deliver tangible operational efficiencies through self-service, automation and straight through processing

  • Lead agile product delivery across the full lifecycle; research and design, business readiness and controls, managing delivery, creation and delivery of user stories, measurement of adoption and ongoing enhancements

  • Executive decision-making within workstream regarding the optimal path to meet business objectives and satisfy client needs

  • Subject matter expertise in digital product ecosystem, leading and facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a customer-facing client experience and integrated source systems

  • Represent workstream roadmap and present frequent updates to key senior stakeholders; cultivating partnerships and engaging peers to drive production adoption targets and communication strategies

  • Embody true \"customer-obsession\" in identifying and leveraging data and varying forms of internal / customer feedback to inform initial digital product design and ongoing enhancements

  • Validate requirements and specifications, align priorities with Objectives and Key Results, own the backlog, and partner with design and engineering to follow through to execution and adoption

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Self-starter with a record of exceptional work in business process re-engineering and digital delivery; strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Curious, pragmatic, business oriented, people person

  • Analytical, research driven with experience in data synthesis and analysis

  • Outstanding, proactive communication skills

  • Ability to contribute individually and lead, manage or participate in cross-functional teams

  • Unshakeable belief in the importance of user experience; comfortable running product demos with internal and external stakeholders

  • Institutional business knowledge, a plus

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant experience in digital product management, preferably in roles focusing on process improvement through digitization of the client experience

  • Experience with agile and lean software development frameworks and leading balanced teams to successful business outcomes

  • Proven track record driving user-centric delivery, leveraging research and user testing to build products with a strong market fit and exceptional experience, thoughtfully rolled out to maximize business benefit and client adoption

  • Unshakeable belief in the importance of user experience
