Abbott House Adminstrative Assistant in New Windsor, New York

Job Summary The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing office operations, performing clerical task, providing support for Abbott House BSFT Program, assisting with data entry, and maintaining tracking sheets with program information, (i.e., movements, intake log / case related documentation). There will be occasional after-hours work needed for this position.About Abbott House Abbott House is an innovative community-based organization that helps children, families, adults and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with complex needs build lasting foundations for a promising future. We operate programs in the New York Metropolitan area and Hudson Valley.Key Responsibilities Greet and direct clients as they arrive at the office. Organize and Distribute mail. Prepare / Copy / Distribute aftercare face sheets (new intakes). Complete and distribute initial paperwork required with new intakes, format case records for new intakes, and perform data entry activities. Copy and distribute completed inter-office forms. Maintain files and coordinate archive process for closed files. Manage petty cash fund for the program. Organize and schedule sign-out book for conference rooms, family rooms, agency vehicles. Monitor equipment and supplies, reorder, supplies, and equipment as needed. Maintain program demographic data and input data in ASARA system. Maintain caseload list for BSFT program and respective unit supervisors. Miscellaneous word processing, photocopying, and faxing for program staff, etc. Any other related duties as required.About You You are the ideal candidate if you are enjoy working in the social services field while empowering underserved communities. Being compassionate, reliable, self-motivated, and a team player are critical attributes to be successful in this role. You have at least a high school diploma (preferably AA). You have proficient computer skills including MS Word and Excel. You have exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Minimum Salary: 42,000 Maximum Salary: 45,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
