We are making great progress toward inventing a new future for 3M - a future of faster growth and increased competitiveness, while continuing to deliver superior results.3M Australia is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer responsible for all Quality aspects of products and processes for our Transport and Electronics Groups.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve Quality Management System to retain ISO 9001 accreditation.
Identify complaint trends, liaise with various (internal and external) stake-holders to address and resolve complaints and analyze and close complaints in timely manner
Analyse and identify plan of actions to reduce cost of poor quality resulting from product quality issues
Manage the administration of corrective and preventive action database and drive CAPA process to ensure root cause is identified and controls are implemented in acceptable time frames
Work collaboratively with suppliers and conduct quality supplier and follow up Supplier Corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
Assemble and coordinate teams for product recall/withdraw
Lead the change management process to ensure product & process changes for locally specified products are assessed, authorised, documented and verified
Experience in writing technical documentation and procedures and controlling documented procedures
Qualification
You are experienced in quality assurance or quality management systems within an industrial, science or technology based organisation
Operational knowledge of ERP system such as SAP is highly desirable.
You have demonstrated ability to implement change in an organisation
Qualifications in quality management highly regarded
Auditor experience including training as a lead auditor will be high advantageous.
GMP or Medical Device quality support experience will help you succeed in this role
You are experienced with the compliance to ISO standards, document control processes and managing a quality management system
Demonstrated ability to implement change in an organisation
Bechelor's Degree or above
