Duties: The Division of Engineering Programs at the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz is looking to fill an open position in Electrical Engineering. This is a tenure-track position that will be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates who bring a unique range of cultural experience and who are especially qualified to mentor and advise all members of our diverse student population are especially encouraged to apply.

Duties for this role include but are not limited to:• Develop a productive research program that integrates New Paltz undergraduate and graduate students.• Teach three course equivalents per semester in addition to advising, research, and service.• Teach innovative and project-based courses in the Electrical Engineering curriculum• Teaching duties will be a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses from freshmenthrough master's level offerings
Qualifications: Required:• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field (Excellent ABD candidates with a firm date of completion, preferably by July 1, 2024, will also be considered)• A willingness and ability to teach all required courses across the undergraduate curriculum and appropriate interdisciplinary courses across the Division of Engineering Programs’ offerings
Preferred:• Significant industrial experience
