| Posting Summary | The School of Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking multiple lecturers for the Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 semester to teach first year introduction to engineering course sequence 14:440:101/102. The successful candidates will cover the full range of duties associated with teaching, including, but not limited to, preparing course material; teaching during the assigned course times; supervising a group of teaching and learning assistants; holding office hours and providing appropriate out-of-class time for students; responding to student e-mails; conducting and grading assessments of students through assignments, exams, and other means, in a timely manner; and submitting final grades. Course appointments may require instruction during the day, in the evenings, online, or any combination of these. |

| Minimum Education and Experience | * Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, or a related field is preferred. * Candidates with a Master's degree and proven teaching proficiency in engineering will also be considered.
