As a Project Coordinator you will assist with the administrative tasks of completing construction projects, including pre-construction planning, estimating, working with Project Managers and the Vice President of Construction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with construction documentation including, but not limited to, estimating, and bid processes, project setup, project submittals, job cost tracking, equipment tracking, monitor purchase orders and complete close out documentation.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure projects are entered and managed in Project Specific Digital Platform (Procore).

  • Assist with the estimating process, including receiving documents, documenting addenda, tracking bid requests, bid submission, and filing bid results including audit file copies, where applicable.

  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and customers, as needed, in support of project milestones and completion.

  • Manage document controls to ensure data integrity.

  • Maintain office calendar(s), p articipate in and coordinate meetings as needed to discuss project details.

  • Assist with creating Purchase Orders (POs) through COINS and assist Accounting with ensuring POs are accurate.

  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 2 years administrative experience in the construction industry preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, DocuSign and Procore. Able to create basic documents and spreadsheets using each application.

Additional Requirements

  • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy.

  • Ability to work in industry specific software platforms (Procore, PlanGrid, eBuilder, Bluebeam etc.).

  • Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with computers, laptops, tablets, smart phones, and other devices/ systems.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in the workplace, through communications, emails, and appearance.

  • Ability to work professionally with clients, vendors and contractors if needed.

  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.

  • Demonstrate great customer service for all guests and employees.

  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.

  • Must have excellent written/ verbal communication and organizational skills.

  • Adapts to change quickly, sometimes with short notice.

  • Flexible, willing to modify plans and behaviors when necessary to meet goals, objectives, and deadlines.

  • Ability to multitask while establishing priorities and effective courses of actions.

  • Must be capable of accomplishing routine tasks.

  • Shows integrity, great work ethic and dependability.

  • Must be a team player, while also working independently.

  • Has the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, effectively, accurately, and safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a threat of harm to self or others.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000, depending upon experience.
