The Paralegal will provide general legal support for company contracts department and administration of related matters with a focus on the drafting, negotiation and revision of contracts.

• Provides contract drafting and editing support for the legal departmen

• Participates in negotiation of contracts with customers or other third parties

• Assists in creating new templates for newly developed products

• Drafts and updates reports and/or contracting database relating to completed projects and contracts

• Collaborates with Sales, Finance and other departments as required to meet goals

• Conducts research as assigned

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of contracting process

• Experience with commercial contract drafting

• Process oriented with ability to follow contracting playbook

• Familiarity with healthcare industry

• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Strong organizational skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

• At least 5 years of paralegal experience

• Legal Assistance Certificate from an American Bar Association approved institution or the equivalent.

Special Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus;

• Experience negotiating contracts, NDAs, and Business Associate Agreements is preferred;

• Knowledge of FCRA and GLBA a plus.

Licenses, Certifications, etc.:

Legal Assistance Certificate from an American Bar Association approved institution or the equivalent.
