In this role, you will… manage Learning Solutions and Learning technologies projects - France-specific and/or in alignment with Global EL organization - from start to finish to ensure objectives are achieved according to defined success measures. You will manage comprehensive project plans, identify risks, and manage resources using defined project management processes. You will work closely with your project team, lead status meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.

As part of this role, you will also be responsible of partnering with the Learning team to ensure that they maintain the effective operation of the existing learning systems and their interactions, of their evolutions and ensuring the accurate adoption and utilization by the different users (change management).

What you’ll do: Responsibilities

Deliver Project Management Services

  • Responsible for the effective project management and delivery execution of large Enterprise Learning projects

  • Create and manage a comprehensive project plan

  • Monitor project progress including identifying risks and initiating corrective action to minimize issues

  • Measure project performance using project management tool

  • Prepare status reports by analyzing and summarizing relevant information

  • Establish a project communication plan and ensure the execution

  • Work within standard processes and templates

  • Mentor internal and external team members to increase project management capabilities throughout the phases of the project lifecycle

Lead a Project Team

  • Lead the project team from initial project identification through project closure

  • Create a team environment that promotes high performance

  • Facilitate project status meetings, direct the project team and recognize achievements

  • Act as a point of escalation for team members

  • Handle team adversity in a suitable manner

  • Manage the quality of project team deliverables

Partner with Stakeholders

  • Maintain project stakeholder involvement, motivation and support

  • Actively listen, understand and respond to stakeholders

  • Provide regular status updates to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Obtain approvals on project change requests so all stakeholders are informed of the impacts

  • Obtain acceptance of completed projects and capture lessons learned

Maintain learning technologies operations

  • Define the projects roadmap (new launches, systems evolutions, new versions)

  • Vendor management: Be the main point of contact for learning technologies providers (DEFI, XPERTEAM, Live Session, etc.) for daily operations and ensure contractual engagements are respected

  • Follow up with users and providers on tickets raised or malfunctions of the systems

  • Ensure efficient and reliable systems interfaces

  • Configure reports and dashboards needed for business or compliance needs

  • Ensure that the different platforms are updated by the different contributors according to standards

Manage change

  • Produce documentation, user guides, processes adapted to different user profiles (e.g. learning consultants and learning coordinators)

  • Ensure guidelines are applied by users

  • Deliver training or coaching to users related to new technologies or the evolution of existing ones

  • Communicate the projects roadmap to the impacted users or teams

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

A college degree is great but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don’t have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:

  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes

  • Five years experience in project management or related field

  • Proven track record for planning, executing, and closing projects

  • Ability to interface with and present to all levels of the organization

  • Ability to manage across formal organizational lines

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

  • Collaborative approach to work

  • Transparency

  • PMP or equivalent professional project management certification or a proven track record delivering projects at equivalent standards

  • Knowledge of GDPR framework

  • Fluent French and English

Bonus poinTs for these:

  • Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies

  • Experience in Learning & Development, human resources, or organizational development

  • Change management certification

  • Knowledge of Qualiopi certification
