Hilton Sous Chef in Munich, Germany

A fixture in Munich for decades, nationally and internationally renowned for its unique location directly on the English Garden, the spacious rooms & suites, a total of 21 conference rooms and the relaxing pool & wellness area.

Ideal for conferences and meetings for up to 2,000 guests, but also for smaller private events, which are celebrated with a perfect view over the city in the Salon Marco Polo on the 15th floor.

A hotel with incredibly exciting and varied guests: from conference or congress trips to weddings or Champions League football teams, there is simply everything here every year and no two days are the same.

Your tasks

- You support the creation and improvement of our gastronomic offer

- You manage the kitchen team in the early or late shift as well as the process in the kitchen during your shift

- You organise and carry out all relevant mis en place work

- You ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards and quality

- You will be involved in the planning and implementation of training courses

- You train new employees and trainees

Your profile

- You have completed vocational training with several years of professional experience as a sous chef or chef de partie in a similarly sized catering business.

- You have a goal-orientated and conscientious way of working and good time management skills

- You have a good command of German and English

- You are a reliable team player and are familiar with managing employees and trainees.

- You don't mind working at weekends or on public holidays.

- You are committed, flexible and have a talent for organisation.
