The Munich Marriott City West will set new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and almost 5000 sqm of public space, including a state of the art conference center, customized and first class event needs will create amazing experiences for our guests. The upscale concept includes an Italian restaurant with open show kitchen, coffee shop with retail, fine-dining wine room, lobby bar and The Speakeasy bar, offering an outstanding culinary experience combined with warm hospitality and stylish ambience. Even the spectacular rooftop terrace and executive lounge with panoramic views over the city, all the way to the Bavarian Alps, delight our guests. The hotel is located in the lively Westend, centrally close to Munich's Old Town and within walking distance of the famous Oktoberfest grounds.

Who we are looking for…

You are a passionate host and approach our international guest clientele with warmth, openness and professionalism in order to make their event something special. You have organizational talent, keep an overview even in complex situations and always find a solution. No matter how many events, conferences and events are taking place at the same time - you have an overview of everything, whether administrative or operational.

What are your responsibilities are...

• From the welcome to the farewell, you are the main contact person for the organizer during the event

• You take care of changes on site

• You take care of guest requests and complaints while keeping a cool head and always having a brilliant idea for a solution

• You are responsible for ensuring that the event runs smoothly, this also includes taking part in meetings and good cooperation and coordination with other departments

• You also take care of administrative tasks, such as managing deliveries or preparing signage

• You enjoy being in contact with guests and occasionally assist with service

• You communicate clearly with your superiors and other departments and are a real team player

• You have solid professional experience in the upscale hotel/catering industry, ideally in the event/banquet sector

• You tackle things and implement new trends with great creativity

• Your strong awareness of quality and your high standards are evident in everything you do

• You are a talented communicator with good knowledge of German and English

• You have organizational talent and don't lose track

• Your winning demeanor, your can-do attitude and hands-on mentality are a natural part of your personality

• Your guest orientation and willingness to perform inspire the team
