Atlantic Health System Venture Studio Summer Intern in Morristown, New Jersey
As a Venture Studio Intern at Atlantic Health System, you will work closely with the AHS Venture Studio team to bridge care gaps and improve access, navigation and clinical quality to build healthier communities. The AHS Venture Studio works with entrepreneurs who are solving the hard problems of health care. The studio leverages Atlantic Health System's extensive network to explore new ideas and cultivate those that will have meaningful impact on our patients and health care professionals.
You will develop a deep understanding of innovation within healthcare, and gain exposure to healthcare entrepreneurs, health leadership executives, and external venture funds. The Venture Studio Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct due diligence process; create data-driven reports and conduct analysis of investment opportunities using industry best practices
Support events management for large-scale convenings aimed at bringing healthcare innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors together
Drafting internal and external venture studio memos
Manage internal databases and documentation, providing strategic recommendations on how to ensure operational efficiency when appropriate
Conduct desk research on healthcare innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem trends
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a public or private College/University, and be in good academic standing at their institution
Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June - August 2024
Must be committed to work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident
Applicants enrolled in an MBA program or closely related field preferred
Demonstrate an interest in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and healthcare innovation
Demonstrate strong analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Desired candidate will be a highly proactive self-starter, able to thrive working independently and in a collaborative team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
