The Opportunity:

As a member of the People & Culture (HR) Team, the Specialist, Strategic Change Projects will report to the Director, Strategic Change and will play a critical role in supporting and executing tasks and projects that support the talent experience at WSP and strategic organizational priorities. This role will work closely with the extended People & Culture team across Canada

What you can expect to do here:

• Support the Strategic Change Team, the People & Culture Leadership team and other corporate stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives and provide program management.

• Coordinate project activities from development through to successful execution under the guidance of the Strategic Change Director

• Assist and communicate in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

• Support initiatives related to company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.

• Support WSP’s change infrastructure through communications material preparation, survey development and administration, data analysis and reporting.

• As requested, improve current processes, and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and tasks at once.

• Proven ability to execute on strategy with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ type approach.

• Creative and imaginative approach to problem solving.

• Strong understanding of change management principles

• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.

• Superior presentation and communication (oral and written) skills, especially in executive communication.

• Ability to storyboard and express ideas clearly and concisely using a mix of data and qualitative insights.

• Exceptional PowerPoint skills

• Exceptional listening skills with the ability to hear beyond what is being said.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in ambiguous environments with a well-honed sense of urgency and appreciation for distinguishing between urgent and important moment to moment.

• Bilingualism in French and English is required.

• Post-secondary education in Business, HR or a related discipline is required.

• 3-5 years of experience supporting strategic initiatives is required.

• Project/program management experience at a National or Global level is ideal.
