SAN JUAN COUNTY Corrections Officer in MONTICELLO, Utah
The San Juan County Sheriff's Office hires only corrections officers who feel a strong sense of pride in their ability to provide order and stability to incarcerated offenders. Qualifications:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Possess a valid Utah driver's license
- Be in good physical condition
- Be of good moral character, have no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions involving moral character, perjury, false statements or domestic violence
- Not have received a dishonorable discharge from any of the Armed Services
- Must show proof of a passing score on the Utah POST pre-entrance exam
NOTE: If you are already a certified Corrections Officer, instead of submitting Utah POST pre-entrance scores you will need to provide a copy of your training Certificate.
