General Electric Sr Staff Technical Program Manager, Hyperion Administrator in Montgomery, Alabama
The Role of Hyperion Administrator – Generalist is to drive technical support for Power’s Hyperion platform. The Admin would be responsible for the day to day support and associated project work for the Hyperion application suite (HFM, FDMEE, DRM, Planning & Essbase). Provide leadership to successfully coordinate efforts of the finance and IT departments throughout the company to efficiently and effectively complete improvement initiatives.
This includes executing both software maintenance changes and global changes to the application architecture working with the corporate Hyperion teams. Requires education and development of less experienced team members.
In this role, you will:
Support the Hyperion platform both from a daily operations and a project perspective. Providing technical support of the environment, managing issues, implementing changes, liaising with Finance team on new requirements.
Partner with Finance Program Managers on Simplification & Growth initiatives to drive strategy.
Have overall responsibility for application setup and related system integration into the GE IT supporting processes.
Assist with end user requests and trouble shoot issues.
Be responsible for CI maintenance, Sox testing, quarterly access reviews and security reviews.
Interface directly with functional leadership, key stakeholders, and Corporate teams working as a business partner to evaluate, simplify, and improve business processes.
Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of Hyperion system solutions & ensure business-wide standards
Follow project rigor and process, applying Agile & Fastworks methodologies as appropriate.
Benchmark new patches/upgrades – engage in benchmarking with both Power and Corporate Orgs.
Be involved in technical aspects of integrating acquisitions. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree
8+ years experience with financial systems, business planning, resource allocation & project managementEligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Atlanta, Schenectady Desired Characteristics:
