Role Summary

Why are we looking for someone to join us?

This role sits within the global Shared Services Team in Human Resources. We are a diverse group of people located in Macedonia, UK and US. We are on a mission to harmonise, standardise and centralise processes across all our locations.

We have the opportunity for an experienced payroll and benefits specialist to join the team to ensure the smooth running of operations while we undergo strategic changes in the team.

Key accountabilities

This role is responsible for administering UK payroll and benefits as well as general HR admin, incl. handling employee queries on payroll and benefits, updating employee records, handling vendor invoice processes, and related tasks to ensure the smooth running of the payroll and benefits function.

· Responsible for payroll administration for UK employees (approximately 450 people in 2 pay cycles)

· Calculate changes to pay rates, process data input required to process salary and sales commissions payroll

· Administer payments such as but not limited to employee deductions, company benefits etc.

· Review, analyze, verify payroll reports for accuracy prior to transmission, make necessary adjustment or corrections and validate confirmed reports

· Handle payroll, tax and compliance reporting

· Maintain current knowledge of payroll legislation and labour standards in the UK

· Responsible for benefit enrolments and new hire on-boarding, including taking the lead with Right to Work checks

· Work closely with HR team members to ensure clear communication of benefit programs, and manage benefit needs related to hiring, terminations, transfers, employees on leave etc.

· Work with vendors to resolve issues related to the administration of benefit invoices, claims or any other related services

· Handle and resolve employee concerns and questions regarding benefits, payroll and pensions

· Enter data into the HR system

· Any other HR related administration tasks as they arise

What you bring

Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience in the end-to-end payroll process (min. 2 years); ideally with processing multiple payrolls every month

  • Experience with the administration of employee benefits plans

  • Experience identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner, with integrity and accountability

  • Strong analysis and attention to detail skill required

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Experience working with ADP Payroll, ADP WFN and/or Sage People is a plus

  • Comprehensive knowledge of standard IT software such as MS Office, Outlook, Teams

  • Basic knowledge of pensions and auto-enrolment is a plus

  • Experience administrating UK payroll is desired but not essential
