Job Summary
Performs duties concerning direct and indirect patient care as assigned.
Coordinates non-clinical activities of the Emergency Unit, transcribes physician orders, performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains the medical record of all patients on the assigned unit.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Medical terminology, computer skills and clerical experience preferred.
Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-8:00pm, weekday shifts; PRN (as needed)
Every other to every third weekend
Every other to every third holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 - $23.00 per hour
