SHERPA Program Supervisor
The Opportunity
The SHERPA Program Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the program. He/she is responsible for supervision of Peer Recovery Coaches, ensuring that quality services are being provided and documented appropriately.
Responsibilities
Serve as point of contact for external stakeholders including hospitals where the program is operating, along with Director.
Responsible for monitoring program activities to ensure quality care is provided, accurate data collection and reporting is completed, and service targets are achieved.
Supervise program staff, including but not limited to: approving/denying all leave requests; reviewing and approving time sheets, mileage and expenses; monitoring interactions with clients; ensuring that staff attend all required trainings and meetings; and completing initial and annual performance appraisals.
Screen resumes, interview applicants, and hire and onboard staff as openings become available.
In collaboration with AVP and Director, monitor budget and all spending activities.
Accurately complete program/agency paperwork and submit by required deadlines.
Responsible for creating recovery coach schedules and managing absences, ensuring that all shifts are adequately covered.
Assume other tasks, projects and responsibilities as needed to ensure effective program and agency operations.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors degree in health and human service field OR Equivalent experience required
Familiarity with recovery and substance use treatment services, and knowledge of local community resources required.
Valid New York State Driver's License required.
Preferred
Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work
NYS Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) preferred.

Salary: $32.14/hr
