Milford Regional Medical Center HR Coordinator in Milford, Massachusetts

Statement of Purpose:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for answering and triaging all internal and external HR-related questions, requests, and communications, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to emails. Performs data entry, HR system maintenance, and maintains employee records. May provide administrative and project support for the recruitment function, including applicant tracking and responses, follow up, scheduling interviews, following-up on reference and background checks, assisting with job postings and sourcing, and managing the onboarding process after hire. Works with HRBPs, VP, HR, and Specialists to support an effective employee relations program. Assists with special projects and new initiatives in the department as needed, including gathering information, preparing data, and follow up activities, which may be of a confidential nature.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

Experience/Skills:

  • 2 to 4 years of administrative experience required, with some being in Human Resources. Must have customer service experience.

  • Demonstrated superior skill in using technology in an accurate and efficient manner, specifically MS office suite including: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems is helpful.

  • Excellent customer service skills and a sense of urgency required.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and time management skills required.

  • Ability to manage duties with competing priorities with flexibility and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Must be able to address all issues with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Must be effective working independently and as well on teams and with other departments.
