If any of these resonate with you, we encourage you to explore our Materials Coordinator role!The Materials Coordinator compiles, maintains and replenishes material and parts inventory to manufacturing. The Materials Coordinator also assists in the shipping, receiving and inventory control areas as needed and directed, and performs the following duties:Responsibilities:Trained in one (1) or more areas of supply chain including however not limited to, shipping, receiving and inventory control.Reads manufacturing schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority. Then issues material to work orders and distributes material to manufacturing.Maintains a first in first out (FIFO) inventory control and performs cycle counts.Transports full bins and empty bins from manufacturing.Transacts MRB material.Processes work orders in accordance with established practices.Transfers material in accordance with established processes as follows:to cost centerwarehouse to warehouselocation to locationconsignmentVerifies, locates and places incoming material into inventory storage locations.Uses material requisition forms and processes to pick up and deliver material to manufacturing.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.ERP/MRP experience, Microsoft Office skills, or equivalent.What Nortech Offers:Competitive compensationOutstanding benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance for employee & family, including a 100% company-paid base medical plan for employees; 401k with company match; tuition reimbursement and PTO.A diverse and inclusive workplace fostering responsible social engagement.Training and opportunity for advancementNortech is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Substance Free WorkplaceCertain positions at Nortech require access to information, or technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other US government security regulations.
