About you and this role

As a Cybersecurity Engineering Manager (Network Security), you will work within the Information Security Services (ISS) team to build and support secure designs across Dow’s network infrastructure. You will provide technical expertise and leadership to manage cyber risks to the integrity, confidentiality, and the availability of Dow's electronic information assets.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and consults on Risk Management deliverables to ensure projects are designing sustainable and secure solutions

  • Collaborates, advises, and consults with key stakeholders on the appropriate application of security practices and security standards to enable new business opportunities

  • Reviews, evaluates, and recommends third party products and tools to maintain a dynamic cyber defense strategy while ensuring alignment to Dow’s Cyber Security Architecture

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, 8 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of current industry security standards and frameworks

  • Technical expertise in security controls including network access controls, next generation firewall concepts, and Security Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process

Preferred Skills

  • Degree discipline in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or another related technical field

  • Certifications, such as the following:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

  • Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN)

  • Certified Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)

  • Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

  • Knowledge in the following areas:

  • SD-WAN

  • Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)

  • Zero Trust principles

  • Virtualization such as Hyper-V, ESX

  • Operating Systems including Windows, Unix, Linux, iOS, Android
