Position Details
The Wesleyan University Upward Bound (UB) and Upward Bound Math-Science ( UBMS ) programs seek facilitators for its six-week summer program. The UB and UBMS programs serve low-income and first-generation students from Middletown and Meriden.
Facilitator responsibilities will include the following:
Aid in the planning and implementing of program activities.
Participate in and supervise/chaperone program activities and field trips.
Provide tutoring assistance and in-classroom support to participants.
Aid teachers in executing curriculum.
Other duties as assigned.
This is an on-campus, non-benefit eligible position working up to 35 hours per week through August 31, 2024.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma.
Enrolled in college/post-secondary.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience working with low-income, first-generation, and underserved populations.
