Description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida in the heart of Coral Gables for a property management group that is growing. This position involves handling various accounting functions, managing Accounting Software Systems, and multi unit properties. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable, and be proficient in Accounting Software Systems and versed in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Yardi for various accounting tasks

• Ensure accurate check processing and accounting records

• Assist with the resolution of accounting inquiries

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Possesses a minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting role

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Yardi

• Demonstrates a strong understanding of accounting functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledgeable in check processing

• Holds a relevant degree in accounting or finance

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
