Job Description

Full Time Customer Service Rep for Call Center in Mesa, AZ


The Customer Service Representative I will answer incoming phone calls and respond to electronic requests to screen and register patients to be seen in clinics, provide information about clinic hours, locations and services and promote company programs and initiatives.


  • Answering incoming phone call inquiries and respond to web check-ins.

  • Register patients for clinic visits utilizing the electronic medical record system, including,

  • Acquisition of demographic and financial information

  • Documentation of patient’s chief complaint, history of present illness, review of systems, allergies, medications, etc.

  • Recognize and refer emergent patients to the nearest emergency department

  • Educate patients regarding the WAHOO (Wait at Home or Office) program

  • Promote the company’s medical discount program

  • Appropriately screen and transfer calls to clinic or resource center staff

  • Provide information about clinic hours, locations and scope of services

  • Promote company’s health initiatives, i.e. flu shots, sport physicals, etc.

  • Promote positive image of NextCare through excellent customer service skills

  • Work with other team members on special projects

  • Adhere to Customer Service Center policies and procedures

  • Treats patients and co-workers consistent with the NextCare Mission Statement, Vision, Values, Full Circle Care and Performance Standards.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or described in Company policy.

Job Requirements


Education: Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Strong customer service skills and call center experience.
