Here, you will make an impact by:Platform Ownership: Take ownership of automation and low code platforms, including Power Platform, Power Automate, and others. Ensure their stability, scalability, and security while meeting business requirements.Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with business goals and objectives. This includes demand prioritization, business value tracking, delivery and lifecycle support, business community engagement, technology decisions and architecture alignment, monitoring and controls, and operations.Hybrid Delivery Model: Work within a hybrid delivery model, collaborating with business units and IT teams to ensure alignment, coordination, and effective delivery of automation projects.Platform Governance: Establish and enforce governance policies, standards, and best practices for the automation platforms. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy guidelines.Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with platform vendors. Evaluate new tools and technologies in the automation space, making recommendations for potential adoption.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of systems experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentThree (3) years of proven experience in managing and administering automation and low code platforms, such as Power Platform, Power Automate, and/or Blueprism.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a masters degree or higher in computer science, manufacturing related, or information systemsStrong understanding of automation concepts, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Work location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN at least 1-2 days per week)Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good fai h estimate for this position.
