Here, you will make an impact by:Set strategy, roadmap and execution for key technology across customer-facing eCommerce, and Order management processes.Accelerate the re-platform of B2B commerce platform and build out a strategy for subscription, services, B2C and DTC models etc. as well working closely with businesses.Lead IT and process teams that support and deploy key capabilities across customer-facing eCommerce processes.Work across multiple teams in a fast paced and high-visibility environment to ensure successful customer process operations for 3M with 10B sales flows.Develop 3Ms next generation eCommerce platform based on strong process design, solution roadmap and architecture, development, and program management efforts.Manage resource allocation and deliverables for the global eCommerce organization, ensuring delivery teams productivity and the quality of output using a metrics-driven approach.Improve, optimize and monitor our Agile processes and development practices with industry standards.Develop and implement resource planning for priority programs, ensuring on-time delivery of release goals, scope, and timelines within budget.Foster growth, training, capacity, and capabilities of assigned process and development teams, including both internal resources and external contractors globally.Guide process and development teams on design, development, and best practices, fostering the next generation of technology leaders at 3M.Work closely with our architecture team to deliver scalable, secure, sustainable development initiatives, with a proactive focus on reducing technical debt.Identify opportunities for innovation and quality improvements with the mindset of simplify, optimize and modernize.Advocate for modular, well-documented software architecture and design, with an emphasis on efficiency, scalability, and future maintainability.Strong project management skills, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to influence others.Balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced and complex environment.Coordinate and influence resources outside of direct management to support strategies and initiatives.Communicate complex information to business audience and inspire business and IT teams through strategic thinking and innovative mindset.Champion a culture of commitment, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellenceYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Masters degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Seven (7) years of eCommerce platform design and development experience with strong business and IT acumen in a private, public, government or military environmentFive (5) years of experience in leadership roles leading large, globally dispersed teams of over 50 talents in a private, public, government or military environmentThree (3) years of experience in Customer processes (Sales, Marketing, Order Management, e-commerce Services, and Subscriptions) in a private, public, government, or military environmentProfessional or Associate Technical and/or PM Certifications desirable.Solid background and understanding of complex customer facing applications, cross functional process and systems, including Marketing Technologies, eCommerce and ERP.ERP deployment and ERP process knowledge is a plus due to heavy integration to front-end commerce platforms.Robust background in modern technical processes and methodologies.Proven track record of success leading eCommerce platform and teams in a dynamic, rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment.Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.Strong leadership in talent development, resource, and budget management globally.Excel in effectively communicating across multiple levels of the organizations.Ability to work through ambiguity in a highly visible and high-pressured environment.Work location:Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
