JOB REQUIREMENTS: Medical Assistant, Podiatry - 28870 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a part-time, 90% FTE day shift position. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM - 5:00PM, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : UW Health offers a competitive compensation package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. External hires may be eligible for a \$2,700 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to: * Join our UW Health podiatry team as they evaluate and treat a variety of foot ailments including foot and heel pain, heel spurs, hammer toes, bunions, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and tendinitis. * Provide the highest quality of care in a compassionate, respectful, patient-family centered environment. * Be a part of a positive, patient-centered team where your input is valued and respected. Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education : Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following: * Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR * Licensure as an LPN OR * Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program OR * Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee OR * Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated OR * One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification Work Experience : Preferred - One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - * Certified as CMA, RMA, or CCMA or eligible for certification.
