Overview

Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles using the forklift, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items. Position Summary Details

This position is in charge of towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts as they fill through the shift.

Pay: $15.00 -16.00 /Hourly range based on shift

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the facility.

  2. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles using the forklift, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.

  3. Safely handle and maneuver heavy and bulky materials, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.

  4. Maintain accurate inventory records by properly documenting incoming and outgoing shipments.

  5. Inspect and perform routine maintenance on the forklift, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.

  6. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and efficiency.

  7. Assist with other tasks and duties within the facility as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.

  2. Valid certification to operate a forklift (e.g., OSHA certification).

  3. Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to forklift operation.

  4. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, often weighing up to [insert weight limit] pounds.

  5. Excellent coordination and spatial awareness skills.

  6. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

  7. High school diploma or equivalent.
